personal interests the arts music live concerts
Throughout my life, I have enjoyed live music...
One of my first memorable experiences in live music was the discovery of The Association at the Glendale Ice House when I was at Glendale College.
Growing up in southern California, I had the opportunity to attend live concerts at some legendary venues...
From the big venues... the Hollywood Bowl, the Greek Theater, the Starlight Bowl, the Universal Studio Amphitheater, Knotts Berry Farm...
to historic nightclubs... the Pasadena and Glendale Ice House, The Troubador, The Prison of Socrates, Pandora's Box, Hop Sings...
to the legendary 1966 Monterey Pop Festival...
Other venues have included Casinos, State Fairs, and university theaters...
With two casinos nearby, my wife and I have lately been taking some chances on some concerts we wouldn't normally go to... some real busts...some real surprises.
